Gardenscape Privacy Statement

At Gardenscape Ltd. we respect your privacy. When you submit your personal information to request a catalogue or place an order, you can be assured that that information is not sold or used by others.

When you order from us, you are automatically sent our current catalogue with your order (not to gift recipients) and then your name and address are placed on our preferred customer mailing list for the sole purpose of mailing out our own catalogue once or twice a year. If you do not wish to receive our catalogues please just let us know by email or phone and we'll remove your name from our list. We do not use your phone number or email other than to contact you about your immediate order if we have questions.

For maximum security we do not keep any credit card information on file so you will be asked to enter this information each time you place an order.

Security

You can order secure on-line by pressing the order button by each item. That will take you to an order page. Below we list the main steps in placing your order on-line.

If you make a mistake don't worry, just email or call us and we'll correct it. (We do aim to ship in about 1 business day so if you do change your mind on an item, get right back to us so we have time to catch it before it goes out.)


Nothing is complete until you press the checkout button. We accept Visa or MasterCard. Your order is sent secure frontend and backend. You send it secure and we receive it secure. You will receive confirmation of your order by email. We email you once the order has been shipped from our warehouse in Toronto.

Ordering Pages

  1. Delivery Location for Shipping Calculation Page
    Once you decide you want an item, press the "ORDER" button. This takes you to the Delivery Information page where you check the appropriate box. See Canadian tax information below for goods delivered within Canada.

  2. Order Summary Page-
    Entering delivery information takes you to a summary of your order with delivery costs calculated. Please note Tax Information: goods delivered within Canada are subject to the appropriate Canadian taxes. Just press the tax info button and tell us which province you are shipping to and taxes will be automatically added to your order . If this step is missed, we will still have to manually calculate Canadian taxes and add them to your final order. If you are shipping a gift to the US you will not be charged taxes regardless of where you live.

  3. Check Out Now Page
    If you are finished shopping and press Check Out Now.

    "Order by Credit Card On-line" - order to your own address using your credit card on our secure shopping site.

    "Order by Credit Card On-line - (Separate billing + shipping address) " - order with your credit card on our secure shopping site and send to a different address - use this for Gift Orders, to send to your office, etc. Please indicate in the "delivery instructions space" if this is a gift and we won't put the invoice in the box. There is also a spot for "Sentiment" where you can fill in a line to go on a gift card. Unless the gift is to be a surprise, remember to tell the recipient who is sending them the gift.

    If the order is going to an address where it is more convenient for you to accept parcels, let us know that it is not a gift so we can put your invoice and catalogue in the box.
  4. Delivery Information Page
    After you check one of the 5 options for payment and delivery type, you will go to a page to fill in the appropriate information so that we can actually ship your order. Press "Submit Secure Order" button and your order will be processed.

    It's still not too late to contact us if you made a mistake. Just contact us asap with the correction. Remember that we do fill orders promptly and aim to ship within 1 business day of receipt (as long as the items are in stock) so email or call immediately if you did make a mistake or have any concerns about your order.


  5. Order Processed Successfully Page
    Finally you will go to a page "Order Processed Successfully" with a 12 digit reference number. You will also receive an automatic acknowledgment by email from the shopping cart with the 12 digit number as well. If you do not get this acknowledgment, your order has not been received by us (this happens rarely). Please call us to confirm that we do have your information.


  6. We manually review all orders and call or email (if you have a preference on how or what number we should use (for example - don't call you at home because it's a gift for your wife) - please indicate this in the delivery instructions comments space on the order) with questions, concerns, out-of-stock information. Sometimes people press the submit button several times. If everything is correct, your order will be shipped in 1 business day and we will email you that it has gone out, which day it was shipped and by what service.

    Once an order has been shipped, we cannot catch it but you are always welcome to return any items using our 30 guarantee policy shown below and on all of our main pages. Please note that once an order has been approved and shipped the delivery charge is non-refundable (unless the item is defective).

At Gardenscape we stand behind the fine products that we sell. If we didn't use them ourselves and find them to be quality items, we simply wouldn't sell them. If you order a regular item* and it's not what you envisioned you can return it by post within 30 days of purchase in its original condition & packaging for a full refund or credit (your choice) for the value of the item + applicable taxes. It you receive a defective item, please call us immediately.
